Many studies have dealt with the ages of history and their subdivisions.

It is almost widely agreed that these eras divisions of the history of the world are Ancient History, the Middle Age, the Modern Age, and the Contemporary Age.

The aim of this research is to focus on the Term of Middle-Age throughout history and study the juxtaposition issue between the Middle-Age term and the Islamic.

Since this topic is one of the important topics, however, it did not receive enough studies and researches.

Therefore, we have chosen it to be the study topic and the research aim.

The study will consider the ages of history and their subdivisions, with emphasis on studying the Middle-Age in detail.

It also clarifies the methodology and the importance of studying this age.

However, this research defined the geographical framework of the Term Middle-Age and clarified the juxtaposition issue between the Middle-Age term and the Islamic.
