This research is titled the Messengers’ (Peace be upon them) Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (Ihtisab) according to the Holy Qur’an*the research aims to high- lighting the messengers) right guidance in the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice according to the Holy Quran and eliciting the most prominent moral aspects of the messengers>approach in implementing the rituals of the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice* To achieve this goal* the researcher used both the induction and deduction methods presenting the Qur'an verses about the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice and then inducing the moral values learnt from those verses about the same topic the research found out that this ritual has a supreme status in Islam and that the messengers (peace be upon them) arc the masters of implementing tus ritual of the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice since they did it in the best way ever it also emphasized following their footsteps in their approach of the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice the study recommended proceeding to nurture the young on the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice and to devise plans in order to face the common vices in the Islamic communities.
