The paper handled Sudanese maritime rights in Red Sea in international treaties and Sudanese law; talked about Sudanese rights in territorial sea, contiguous zone, exclusive economic zone, continental shelf, high seas and transit through vital international treaties in this field which are repealed Geneva treaties for Mari- time law 1958؛ Geneva treaty about territorial sea and contiguous zone, Geneva treaty about continental shelf, Geneva treaty about high seas, Geneva treaty about fishing and preserve life resources in high seas and optional protocol about settle disputes.

Then 1 dealt with these rights in the current treaty which is United Nations treaty about seas law 1982 and eventually 1 handled these rights in Khartoum treaty 1974 but regarding these rights in Sudanese law I talked about territorial sea and continental shelf repealed law 1970 and in current law which is maritime zones and continent- tal shelf law 2018.The importance of topic portrayed from state wealth which deemed a target to other countries owns developing technology in addition to the view to Red Sea as enormous water resource with regard of population increase which makes to the water big value.

One of reasons to choose such topic is negligence of &ate to this big resource as water resource or fish wealth or mineral wealth, also we mu& put in consideration that the coming wars is water war, in addition to scarcity of Judies in this scope.I followed analytical, comparative and descriptive approach by an- alyzing Sudanese maritime rights in Red Sea with help of interna- tional treaties.

The mo!؛t important result is Sudanese law agreed with international treaties in exclusive economic zone definition and extension and principle of freedom of high seas.The mo& important recommendation is to amend Khartoum treaty 1974 to adapt development such as exclusive economic zone and conti- nental shelf also revive the mutual body to exploit resources.
