This study aimed to measure the effect of the kirk-Patrick model in measuring the training return (level of reactions, level of learning, level of behavior, level of results) on the career path in its dimensions (career path planning, career qualification, promotion and career creativity) in the ministry of labor in the sultanate of Oman.

the study was based on the descriptive and analytical approach, and the study population consisted of the ministry of labor in the sultanate of Oman as a case study.

the sampling unit was represented by managers, their deputies, assistants and heads of departments, and their number reached (140) individuals.

the questionnaire was distributed to them using the comprehensive survey method, and the questionnaire was distributed to all of them.

a survey of (87.9%).

the study reached many results, the most important of which was the existence of a statistically significant effect at the level (α = 1015) of the kirk-Patrick model dimension in measuring training return (level of results) in the career path, but (level of reactions, level of learning, level of behavior) is not it has an impact on the career path.

the study recommended the necessity of working to keep abreast of the kirk-Patrick model concept in measuring the return on training because of its benefit reflected on the performance of workers and thus increased production.
