Intellectual capital in the security field represents a set of distinct capabilities enjoyed by a limited number of officers and individuals that contribute to transforming these institutions ^q into smart security institutions.

The problem of the study lies in: How can, through investment in intellectual capital, support the characteristics of smart security organizations? The study aims to analyze the opinions and trends of a sample of 100 individuals from the employees of the UAE Ministry of Interior on the relationship of intellectual capital to strengthening the characteristics of the smart organization.

The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: - The investment in intellectual capital is an effective element to strengthen the characteristics of the smart security organization.

- There is a significant relationship between the management and development of intellectual capital and the dimensions of the characteristics of the smart security organization.
