The research is study the generation gap in the Saudi family and identify the reasons which lead to the gap in Saudi family, so , this research will finished by a planning the guide program aimed.

For finish the gap between generations of the Saudi family to achieve this aims the researcher used the descriptive approach and the qualitative approach and used the questionnaire and the interview guide as research tools.

The research sample consisted of (382) families, part 1: students in the public universities in Riyadh, part 2 was group of families from mothers and fathers.

The most important results bout the gap between the sons and parents are: Psychological factors: where relationship between psychological factors and the occurrence of the gap at a level of significance (0.01).

and economic factors: occurrence of the gap at a level of significance (0.01).

and family factors: occurrence of the gap at the level of significance (0.01).

also, differences were found between the sample according to the father-to-mother marriage in the psychological factors that lead to designing guide program to reduce this gap.
