This study aimed to identify the emergence and formation of the organization of the farmers’ unit in the Al-Jazirah and Al-Manaqil project in 1965 AD and its political and social activity until 1970 AD.

The agricultural administrative and organizational fields' and the project was launched and won a prestigious international fame and as a result the farmers’ minds opened and their social and political awareness matured in depth and solidity* and they realized the great role that the project’s farmers must play in the progress and advancement of their country* and the farmers had no union organization until their first Strike from cultivation Cotton in 1946 That Strike* which revealed the solidarity of the farmers and their patriotic sense.

It resulted in the formation of union organizations for farmers* the Representative Authority of Farmers 19471952- and the Farmers Authority from 19521954-* which was a necessary prelude to the birth of the Gezira Farmers Union in 1954* which confronted the farmers’ leadership professionally and demandingly and contributed to the development of political work In Sudan* the Study followed the historical and descriptive research method to analyze the events and their course* and one of the most important findings of the Study was that the farmers were able to establish a factional political organization in the Al-Jazirah and Al-Manaqil project that takes care of their interests under the name of the farmers’ unit.

The Study recommends research and Study on the reasons and factors that led to the lack of development of this experience.
