This study aims to identify the custom in the Dar Hamar region, and its importance lies in the fact that custom is a material or historical source for many legal rules.

The study adopts the historical, descriptive, and analytical method to reach scientific results, the most important of which are: The custom secures within the tribe and forbids the village the right to possess the land for the purpose of farming, grazing and wood logging.

Collecting blood money, compensation, and contributing to the payment of damages are mutualistic habits, but they lead to a greater spread of crime.

The study recommends conducting a comprehensive study on social solidarity in Kordofan society and its role in peaceful coexistence.
