The current study aimed to adapt and codify the list of the big five factors to measure the new revised personality NEO PI-R) Costa and Macri (1992) model after translating the British version, and calculating the psychometric properties of the Sudanese environment using the descriptive approach on a sample from Khartoum state that amounted to (1310) males and females.The results showed that the stability coefficients for the total score amounted to (.8910) and for the sub-dimensions, respectively, of neuroticism, extraversion, agreeableness, openness, and conscientiousness, which amounted to (.718 0; .7360; .7690; .7010; .7080).

The convergent validity results also showed that All the correlations between the total score and the sub-dimensions are significant at the level (0.01), which amounted, respectively, to (.388**.0.791**.0.696**.0.310**.0.720**).

As well as all the correlations between the total score for each dimension and the axes that make up the dimension statistically significant.

Thus, the study concluded that the new revised personality list NEO PI-R) Costa and Macri (1992) model for the five major personality factors have good validity and stability indications that make them psychometrically valid for use in the Sudanese society.
