The study is concerned with the words of the Sudanese colloquial dialect used by the Sudanese poet, Mohammed Al Mahdi Al Majzoob in his poetry collection called "Nar Al Maejazeeb" ,"fire of the dervishes" : explaining their meanings, tracing and authenticating their origins –comparing the arabic and local origins with the intruder ones , conveying the ideas of linguists in this respect , weighing them in case of contradiction, and initiating new ideas of authenticating some of them.

the also study highlights the change in connotation and pronunciation that had become of some of these words, drafting them away from what they were originally used for.

it also points out the new expressions and idioms that were innovated by the Sudanese Arabs and used for some of the meanings and objects that are related to the origin of those words.

the study also highlights some Sudanese idioms based on Arabic expressions which do not give meaning only within a Sudanese cultural context.

these Sudanese expressions are enclosed and investigated and traced althrough the poets work of this poetry book, to show how frequently they are repeated.
