This study aimed to identify the patterns of argument in the poetic text to show its aesthetics and what is behind the text; teleology in it.

The study sought to highlight the argumentative pattern in the entire poem as the argumentation included the historicity in the poetic text, religious, linguistic, and spatial.

The study adopted the analytical methodology in monitoring the points of arguments in the poetic text, which is Al-Farazdaq's poem in praise of Zain Al-Abidin.

One of the most prominent results of the study is that the argumentative thresholds are in their integrated format at Al-Farazdaq's poem "This is the One Whom al-Batha' Knows his Footsteps “which brought out the person rebelling against the injustice represented by the marginalization in that era of many of its princes and in some situations of its caliphs.
