الملخص EN

This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of computer courses’ content in education in developing technological awareness of smart devices’ digital risks among female students of the Faculty of Education and the College of Science and Arts at the University of Najran.

The study sample consisted of (248) students from the College of Education and the College of Science and Arts at the University of Najran.

The study followed (the descriptive and Semi-experimental methods).

The study used a scale to measure the technological awareness consisting of (30) items.

The scales’ validity and reliability were carefully checked.

The study’s findings revealed that the level of technological awareness among female students of Faculty of Education at the University of Najran, who studied the curriculum of computer courses in education, was average in pre application of the scale of technological awareness of the digital risks of using smart devices.

The differences were statistically significant in the experimental group in pre and post applications scale of technological awareness in favor of the post application.

The results of the study also showed no statistically significant differences in the experimental group during pre and post applications due to variable of field (scientific, Humanist).

Based on these results, conclusions, recommendations and appropriate proposals were presented.
