This study address the factors affecting the fertility levels in Onaizah city and aimed to identify the fertility levels and trends in Onaizah, analyze the factors affecting it; such as demographic, social and economic factors, and detect the prevalence of use of family planning methods and the most important factors affecting the practice of family planning among the study sample population.

The study relied on a survey sample consisted of (300) questionnaires distributed to four quarters.

The questionnaire was designed to answer the spatial, economic, demographic and social characteristics of husbands and wives.

The study revealed that the current fertility levels in Onaizah are relatively high, which has an impact on population raising.

Results of the study revealed a difference in fertility levels of husbands according to the number of years of the current marriage and the use of family planning methods.

Also, there is a difference in fertility levels of wives according to the number of years of the current marriage, employment status and the number of births appropriate for the family.

While it revealed that there is no difference in fertility levels according to workplace, housing type, tenure and size as well as the type of profession.
