The study aims to establish the risks of children's excessive use to Social Media Platforms from Parents' Perspective, especially YouTube and Tik Tok.

The study was applied to a random sample their number (232) parents of primary school children in West Gaza City.

The researcher used a questionnaire tool to reveal the results of the study.

The study found that there are various and multiple motives that contribute to children's excessive use to social media platforms at a high rate.

The study also confirmed that the level of personal, behavioral, social and value risks of children's excessive use to social media platforms (high).

The study proved that there is no statistically significant relationship in the level of risk attributable to the gender variable, while there is a statistically significant relationship in the level of risk for children's excessive use to social media platforms due to the variable age, time period, and type of content viewed.

Finally, in light of the results of the study, the study recommends choosing the appropriate content for the age and gender of the child and the need for parents to control the sites and videos that their children watch, to share with them the choice of appropriate content to watch, and to provide sports, scientific, cultural and social activities by the family for the children so that they invest their time.
