Based on the fact that university education plays a crucial role in the development and progress of society as one of the most important factors of success, it is the main gateway for entering, keeping up and empowering society in this era.

Through its institutions, university education promotes people's ideas, values and skills to become a productive human resource that is intellectual and creative to serve and promote societies and civilizations, which requires continuous development of universities in light of society's technological and digital transformations.

The current study seeks to present a proposal for digital transformation in Saudi universities in light of the digital transformation dimensions; through presenting the concept of digital transformation, its importance, objectives, models and the requirements of achieving digital transformation in universities as well as the identification of its most significant constraints.

Moreover, the study presents the three dimensions of digital transformation: (organizational, technical, human).

The study presents a proposed concept for digital transformation in Saudi universities in light of the digital transformation dimensions.
