This study aims to identify the international standards in prepar- ing teachers in faculties of education.

It is a descriptive and analytical study that surveys a group of Arab and foreign literature (related to the subject of the study) in order to find out the international slandards for preparing teachers in faculties of education through the following axes: - FirSt: Standards Which must be met to accept students in faculties of education in light of international standards Second: The Standards that muSt be met for the study system and its programs in faculties of education in light of international standards Third: The Standards that muSt be met in practical education programs in faculties of education in light of international Standards.The results of the Study showed the in- creasing interest of developed and developing countries in the modern trends in the field of teacher preparation and professional development in the faculties of education.

It is used, the moSt important of which are the following: - Standing by all means on international standards in developed countries in the field of teacher preparation and training and benefiting from them.

The launch of the development of the faculties of education should be through committees and work teams affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education to implement comprehensive quality Standards in teacher preparation faculties to include all areas related to the educational process and ensure its achievement and continuity.
