This paper deals with the consequences of throwing Moses, peace be upon him, into theYam( the Nile River) as it came in the Qur'an, due to the ambiguity of the locations of the birth events, the ambiguity of the names that appeared in the story, and the differences of scholars, an- cient and modern about them, with the aim of reconsidering the mean- ings of the names, and the interpretation of the events Which accompa- nicd the birth and to avoid ambiguity in what the semantics suggest for those facts and names as recorded by the commentators and newsmen.

Achieving the objectives of the research and drawing its results necessi- tated that it include the following topics: understanding the purposes of the Qur’anic narration, clarifying the relationship of Pharaoh with the- Israelis, narrating the consequences of the dumping event, and then dis- cussing the visions of those who dealt with these facts and indications.
