الملخص EN

This Study aims at identifying the level of social responsibility between male and female teachers of the basic education Stage in Shendi and A1 Matema localities, River Nile State.

It also aims at revealing the differences between them according to the variables: Gender (male/female), marital Status (married/unmarried) and the location of the living environment (rural/ urban).

The Study sam- ple consisted of (200) male and female teachers who were chosen by the simple random Stratified method from the original popula- tion of the Study during the academic year (2020-2021).

The two Researchers, applied some tools to collect field data such as the basic information form to be filled in the teacher.

The Two Re- searchers also adopted scale of social responsibility prepared by: MuStafa A1 Harouni, and Wahman A1 Sayed Farraj (1999 AD).

They made some modifications to the scale and Standardized it on the Sudanese environment.

To analyze the data, the two Research- ers used some statistical methods of SPSS.

The moSt important statistical methods used in data analysis were: Pearson’s correla- tion coefficient Equation, and T-TeSt.The Study concluded too the following moSt important results:Social responsibility prevails in the responses of male and female teachers in the basic education Stage of the Study sample to a degree above the average.

There are no statistically significant differences in the responses of male and female teachers in the basic education Stage of the Study sam- ple, according to the gender variable (male, female (.There are statistically significant differences in the responses of male and female teachers in the basic education Stage of the Study sample, according to the marital social Status variable (married, unmarried) in favor of married couples.There are no statistically significant dif- ferences in the responses of male and female teachers in the basic education Stage of the Study sample, according to the geographic housing environment variable (urban, rural).
