The paper, tagged with “Development Challenges in the Border Regions (Xinjiang) as a Model”, deals with the official efforts made by the Chinese government to achieve a developmental balance between the border coaStal regions and the interior regions, minority by the Chinese govcmmcnt.Thc importance of the paper comes from the importance of the same topic that deals with development in the border areas for the third world countries to benefit from this experience.

The paper used the historical method to trace the history of the region and the historical roots of the region's population and development plans.

It also used both the descriptive and analytical approaches to describe and analyze the developmental developments that accompanied the rcgion.lt relied on collecting primary and secondary information such as reports, Arabic and foreign books, in addition to magazines, newspapers and the international information network.The paper reached a number of results: the most prominent of which is China's adoption of a development line in (Xinjiang) by opening a huge number of international roads to connect the region with all neighboring countries (Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Tajikistan) across a number of lines, and the existence of social discontent due to inequality in the region, which threatens its development plans.
