The problem of the study lies in trying to find out the mostimportant causes that led to the conflict in eastern Sudan, where the conflict that took place in eastern Sudan had political, economic and social dimensions and the impact of that conflict on many aspects of life in the eastern region.

And some of the efforts made to bring peace to the eastern region, and the most important features of the Eastern Sudan Peace Agreement signed by the parties to the conflict.The objectives of this study are to shed light on the causes of the armed conflict in eastern Sudan and the efforts that have gone into establishing peace and signing the East Peace Agreement and shedding light on the most important features of the East Peace Agreement.

The study followed the descriptive, analytical and historical approach to identify the causes and dynamics of the conflict in order to bring peace to eastern Sudan by signing the East Peace Agreement.The study reached the moS important results, the moS important of which is that the first reason for the outbreak of the conflict in eastern Sudan was due to the lack of development and basic services.
