This study aims to analyze the food gap in the Arab world during the period (1990 - 2020), the issue of food security emerged, after the food crisis of 2007 - 2008, which had a strong impact on the Arab countries.

This effect was shown in an increasing the food gap, since this gap includes major food commodities that cannot be dispensed with.

This is due to the low agricultural production.

The mo.& important findings of the study are the contribution of the migration of the labor force from the rural to the Cities in causing damage to agricultural lands due to leaving it unexploited, the lack of cultivated lands due to the limited available water resources and technical and economic considerations, and the high interest rates for financing provided to agriculture.

The results of the study concluded that there is a negative impact of both the labor force and loans on the food gap, while there was a positive effect on the percentage of cultivated land on the food gap.

The study approach is the descriptive statistical method based on induction and deduction to analyze the primary and secondary information.

The regression model was used to clarify the relationship between (Economic Resources on the Food Gap).
