The importance of the study is that the formulation of news headlines is no longer just a summary of a specific description, but rather has become an indu^ry with its own characteristics, and several factors entered and interacted with it and contributed to the development of its methods and ways of delivering it to the recipient.

Thus, the headline of the news entered a new stage of development and promised industry.

The study aims to shed light on the Sudanese shortcomings that accompany the formu- lation of news headlines in newspapers, and their presentation in Sudanese newspapers.

By looking at Arah newspapers, ا noticed a significant difference between ٤١١٠ formulation of news headlines in contemporaty Arab and Sudanese newspapers.

The study was presented using the descriptive analytical method, where it de- scribed the charactcr؛،؛؛c؛؛ of a good title, and the study dealt with correcting linguistic, grammatical and morphological errors using the analytical method.The study concluded that drafting the head- lines of Sudanese newspapers faces several challenges and is in ا؛ State of constant stumbling.

From the side of the formulation and in^allation, and does not take into account the scientific, practical, and global foundations in the formulation of news headlines.

The Study recommends: The necessity of good professional preparation for editors, proofreaders, directors and publishers as well, an،)؛al, technical, intellectual, and typographical errors should be avoided in the titles before they go out to the recipient.

There is an urgent need for specialized bodies and the participation of academics and communication scholars in the aspect of planning, drafting and directing.
