To study the concepts of transitional justice and the stages of their application and then benefit from them in the state of Sudan, especially after the December 2019 revolution, with the aim of reaching political and societal reconciliation that achieves security and stability in the country, given that transitional justice is the only and appropriate way out of the political crisis.

The importance of the study for this paper stems from the fact that it paints a clear picture of the importance of studying and implementing transitional justice as a successful experience that has been proven by practical experiences in many countries and through which it was able to achieve true national reconciliation in post conflict societies in many countries, especially in light of countries that have suffered a lot from the scourge This study relies on dismantling the epistemological problem of the concept of transitional justice, where the historical method is used to present the historical background of transitional justice, its concept and stages of application, and the descriptive analytical approach in order to describe and analyze the stages of its establishment and the chances of success achieved through Implementation of transitional justice.

Among the most important findings of the study: Transitional justice is the actual solution for post-war states and societies (conflict).

The most important characteristic of transitional justice is social consent and acceptance, considering that society is a key partner in the implementation of transitional justice.

National will and popular partnership are the greatest guarantors for achieving transitional justice.

The current political situation in Sudan requires transitional justice in which all political forces and components of civil society participate in order to get out of this dark tunnel.
