This study aimed to identify the most important factors influencing the formation of the Yemeni public opinion.

For that, the researcher reviewed the literature and previous studies to extract a set of factors in the light of which he built the study tool which was represented as the questionnaire, in which it targeted the Yemeni community residing in the capital Sana’a.

The researcher used the descriptive approach, which the study population consisted of the all residents in the capital Sana’a, who are distributed in 10 districts (Old Sana’a, Al-Tahrir, Al- Safia, Azal, Al-Wahda, Bani Al-Harith, Al-Saba’een, Shu’ub).

The study sample amounted (400) individuals that were distributed among these directorates, and the questionnaires were distributed in equal proportions to all directorates.

The study came out with the most important results that the researcher found that there are a set of factors; some of which were related to permanent (personal) factors, and others were related to (social) factors, while other factors were related to (temporary) factors, and their importance and influence in shaping public opinion varied from the point of view of Yemeni society.

So that it was found that cultural factors, religion and social affiliation as social factors were the most influential on public opinion, and it was found that the means of social communication and the nature of events as influencing external factors which play an important role in raising public opinion.

Finally, it was found that demographic factors played the most affective role in determining the course of Yemeni public opinion.
