The study aimed to: Find out "The Extent to which Arabic Language Teachers Practice Creative Thinking Skills in Teaching Literary Texts Among Secondary School Students in Hodeida City".

To achieve this goal, the study attempted to answer the following two main questions: 1 What are the creative thinking skills that Arabic language teachers can practice in teaching literary texts among secondary school students? 2- To what extent do Arabic language teachers practice the teaching skills necessary to develop creative thinking in teaching literary texts? The following questions are derived from the second main question: 1-To what extent do Arabic language teachers practice fluency development skills in teaching literary texts among secondary school students in Al- Hodeida Gove orate? 2-To what extent do Arabic language teachers practice the skills of developing flexibility in teaching literary texts among secondary school students in Al Hodeida Gove orate? 3-To what extent do Arabic language teachers practice the skills of developing originality in teaching literary texts among secondary school students in Al- Hodeida Gove orate? 4- To what extent do Arabic language teachers practice the skills of developing sensitivity to problems in teaching literary texts among secondary school students in Al-Hodeida Gove orate? To answer the study questions: -A questionnaire was designed containing a list of creative thinking skills in teaching literary texts, making use of the previously prepared lists, and the studies and literature that dealt with the subject of creative thinking.

The list contained 34 skills distributed on four main axes.

They are (fluency, flexibility, originality, and sensitivity to problems).

- The study tool (the questionnaire) was applied to an intentional sample of Arabic language teachers, their number is (94) male and female teachers.

-The results of the questionnaire for Arabic language teachers (the sample of the study) showed that: -They Possess the skills of developing creative thinking, and a (large) degree of practice in the first and fourth axes (fluency, sensitivity to problems), and a (medium) degree of practice for the second and third axes (flexibility, and originality).

In light of the results, the research concluded several recommendations, including: - Attention to training teachers before and during service on a set of behaviors that facilitate the process of creativity in the classroom, and training them in modem evaluation methods and tools.

-Training teachers to discover students' abilities and inclinations, develop curiosity for them, and work to develop these capabilities in the right direction.

-Conducting training programs for Arabic language teachers during service to provide them with creative thinking skills, and these programs must be designed according to philosophies and approaches that have proven effective in developing teachers' performance in the field of developing thinking skills.

-Reformulating and organizing the course of literature and texts, in light of creative teaching skills, so that it arouses students' thinking, pushes them to reason, discovery, experimentation and forecasting, and the teacher preparation programs should include training in creative teaching skills and strategies, methods of development, and presenting practical models, so that the creative concept turns into a tangible reality.
