If the concept of "Economic War" began to be used at the end of the twentieth century, the phenomenon; is not new.

However, it seems that the end of the cold war and the trajectory taken by the phase of globalization which is still in progress have imposed the opinion according to which economic warfare would impose itself, henceforth, as the modern form of war.

; because we are witnessing a focus on this theme which has been gaining momentum over the past thirty years and which is explained by the fierceness of competition in a globalized economy not only between companies but also between States and nations; which, in the end, could mortgage the question of the topicality of military conflicts.

This invites us to return to geopolitics and to focus on the transformation and future of the phenomenon of war as well as the trajectory that the unipolar international system defended by the United States of America, champions of "Freedom" can take.

Si le concept de « Guerre économique » a commencé à être utilisé à la fin du vingtième siècle, le phénomène; n'est pas nouveau.

Toute fois, il semble que la fin de la guerre froide et la trajectoire empruntée par la phase de mondialisation qui est toujours en cours ont fait imposé l'opinion selon laquelle la guerre économique s'imposerait, désormais, comme la forme moderne de la guerre; car on assiste à une focalisation sur cette thématique qui monte en force depuis une trentaine d'année et qui s'explique par l'apreté de la concurrence dans une économie globalisée non seulement entre les entreprises mais aussi entre les Etats et les nations; ce qui, en fin, pourrait hypothéquer la question de l'actualité des conflits militaires.

Ceci invite à faire retour à la géopolitique et à mettre le point sur la transformation et le devenir du phénomène de la guerre ainsi que la trajectoire que peut emprunter le système international unipolaire défendu par les Etats-Unis d'Amérique, chantres du « Libre-échangisme » qui a, en fin, ébranlé sa position du leader international vu la montée d'autres puissances concurrentes.
