It is well known to anyone the extent to which some Muslim youths are fascinated by what the Western system has achieved with regard to human rights, and how some have employed it to promote Western anti-lslamic principles and values, and to direct rumors that discredit some of the provisions of Qur’an and its tolerant teachings related to human rights.

This called the researcher to examine the meanings of Quranic verses to illustrate the true nature of the Islamic* law’s position on many human rights issues, and to highlight the distinction of Quranic laws over 11ة human systems and man-made provisions, the researcher also examined some doubts related to the position of Qur’an on some human rights issues and refuted them scientifically, through the inductive and the analytical approach that he followed.

In this research which is divided into an introduction and three chapters.

In the preface, the researcher addresses the definition of human rights in language and convention, referring to human rights in Western thought, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

'1'he first chapter deals with human rights in the light of verses from the Holy Qur’an.

These include the right to life, the right to human dignity, the right to freedom, the right to equality, the right to security and the right to property ownership, the right to education, the right to work, and the right to social security.

In the second chapter, the foundations and characteristics of human rights in the light of Quranic verses.

In chapter three, two doubts are discussed.

'1'he first part discusses the suspicion of opposing the legal limits in Islam to human rights.

1'he second part discusses the suspicion of opposing apostasy to Freedom of fixed belief in the texts of the Qur’an.

Then, the researcher concludes his research with a number of findings and recommendations.

Some of the findings are: In Islam, a man’s right to life is assured for him before his birth, and the right to dignity continues with him after death and burial.

The sanctity, prohibiting their violation or giving them up.

The legal limit•؛ in the Noble Quran are a-protecfron-fbr-hmnan-nghts, not a violation.

The confirmation punishment of apostasy in Islam does not contradict the Quranic verses affirming freedom of belief.
