This research is a descriptive, morphological study that examines the topic of causative and its impact on retaining the hamza of the form “afaal”, which was supposed to be eliminated.

The movements for change within Arab societies have contributed to the emergence of new morphological forms with a new notion in some of its conjugates or a new structure in some of its other conjugates.

These new morphological forms can be relied upon when expressing new meanings and naming contemporary concepts, as happened with “yuaslim” and its peers.

Examples of this linguistic phenomenon are the specialized grammatical, critical, political, social, and scientific terms that have not yet appeared in the current general use of the language.

Academics and writers were encouraged to use semantics generation in “aslam” and its peers by giving the intransitive verb "afaal" the meaning of transitivity and causative, due to its existence in a new context related to the events and culture of the era, without giving the prefix of hamza a role in this new meaning.

Moreover, academics and writers were prompted to generate derivation morphological forms by retaining the redundant hamza in the present tense “afaal”, retaining its hamza in the present tense, participle, past participle, such as, for example, “yuaslim”, “muaslim”, “muaslam”.

Retaining the hamza, which indicates the word’s retention of the innovative causative meaning acquired by the past verb, was dependent on imagining the originality of this letter given the familiarity of fixing the redundant letters in the audible language when composing words expressing new facts.
