Research problem and importance : modern technological techniques play an important role in the field of education as they are considered a positive aspect of the learning process because they help in the speed, easiness and organization of transforming information which reduces effort and educational loss and thereby they grant the learners educational benefits.

teaching method varied with in the modern educational thinking as they do not present on style but they are considered a means that depend on good behavior according to the existing circumstances and the criterion of their succeed depend on how much achieved in the behavior and attitudes of the learners which stresses the necessity of choosing the most convenient and the best techniques that suit the learners.

the researcher; during her work as a teacher in one of the primary schools, noticed that there was only one technique followed in teaching all the educational units such as athletics unit, which is the traditional technique which depend on one source for knowledge that is the explanation done by the teacher followed by presenting a model without any actual participation of the learners in the educational process.

according to the above introduction and as the long jump contest lies with in the activities included in the curriculum of the fifth primary grade, the researcher aimed performing a study in an effort to recognize the effect of both styles of teaching (the inclusion and practice style) on learning the teaching stages of long jump and cognitive achievement with the aim of making the learner involved in an interactive and positive way during the learning process and providing the teacher with as many opportunities as possible in giving instructions and guidance in an effort to accomplish more effectiveness for the learning process and raise the students, level in the long jump contest and the level of cognitive achievement related to cleverness.

research aims : 1-recognizing the effect of using the inclusion style on learning the technical stage of long jump and cognitive achievement.

2-recognizing the effect of using the practice style on learning the technical stage of long jump and cognitive achievement.

3-making a comparison of the effect of using the different styles of teaching (the inclusion / practice / command style) on the level of cognitive achievement related to the long jump skill.

research hypotheses : 1-teaching by using the inclusion style on learning the technical stages of the long jump and the level of cognitive achievements of the long jump skill.

2-teaching by using the inclusion style on teaching by using the practices style on learning the technical stage of the long jump and the level of cognitive achievement of the long jump skill.

3-teaching by using the practice style on there are statistically significant differences in the rate of the change taking place on learning the technical stage of long jump among the three techniques of teaching (the inclusion / practice / command style) .

4-there are statistically significant differences in the rate of the change taking place in the level of cognitive achievement of the long jump skill among the three techniques of teaching (inclusion / practice / command style).
