The predecessors knew the greatness of the Holy Qur'an and its right over them, so they lived in it with all their conscience and awareness of their minds, so they demonstrated its moderation in beliefs, worship, and legislation, the true religion, and for this reason i dealt in this research with the features of moderation and its purposes for the Imam-may god have mercy on him, all aspects of religion, origins and branches, creed, worship and legislation, in order to identify the purposes of moderation in the interpretation of Imam Shaarawy, and the venerable position of the imam and his interpretation of the spirit of the age.

the reasons for choosing the topic: first: emphasis on the importance of moderation and its role in treating extremism, estrangement, excessiveness and negligence, second: an explanation of how Imam al-Shaarawi revealed the moderation approach drawn by the Qur'an in all aspects of religion, in origins and branches, in belief, worship and legislation, third: in order to identify the purposes of moderation in the interpretation of Imam Shaarawy fourth: the position of the venerable imam and the interpretation he presented that keeps pace with the spirit of the age this study relies on the inductive approach, by extrapolating moderation, its purposes and images in the interpretation of Imam Shaarawy may god have mercy on him and presenting examples of it the study contains an introduction, a preface, three chapters, a conclusion, and a list the sources and references, and the introduction includes the reasons for choosing the topic, previous studies, the study method, and the preface: the definition of moderation, the purposes, and Imam Shaarawy the first topic: moderation and its purposes in belief, the second topic: moderation and its purposes in worship, the third requirement: moderation and its aims in legislation, conclusion: and it includes the most important findings of the study, including that Islam is based on moderation and moderation in beliefs, worship, morals and behavior, Wasatiyah is a praiseworthy divine method that, prevents a person from being unfair to one of the two extremes.
