This study intends to explore the problems faced in translating terms in linguistic dictionaries into Arabic.

The study also focuses on the translation of terms which specifically belong to the lexical field as a sample to show different problems researchers encounter when dealing with specific terms in Arabic.

Translation into Arabic is made individually; consequently, researchers find themselves in front of different equivalents to one term.

In order to solve these problems, the study proposes to organize translation in the Arabic World and suggests the coordination of efforts directed at unifying translation of terms in Linguistics and especially in the lexical field.

Cette étude a pour but d'explorer les problèmes rencontrés dans la traduction du terme lexical dans les dictionnaires linguistiques arabes.

L'étude a conclu que la traduction du terme lexical est faite individuellement, par conséquent, le même terme a plusieurs équivalents en arabe.

Afin de résoudre ces problèmes, l'étude a proposé d'organiser la traduction en arabe et a suggéré la coordination des efforts visant à unifier la traduction des termes en linguistique et en particulier dans le domaine lexical.
