The study aims at investigating the socio-economic characteristics of the graduated youth in El-hosonia valley as well as analyzing the costs and returns for the graduated youth projects.

105 graduated youths are selected randomly from three villages ; El-ezdihar, El-rowad and El-salah.

To accomplish the objectives of the study , some profit indicators for economic projects and statistical techniques are used.

Among the most important results that I reached: that all graduates in Al Ain are males, as their percentage was about 100% in all villages in Al Ain, and most of the graduates in Al Ain villages were married, whose percentage was not less than 59.5% of the total sample of graduates in the three villages.

For married people, it was in the village of Al-Ruwad, as it reached about 64.5% of the total sample in the village, and it is clear that the average number of family members in the sample villages was about 2.1 individuals, 3.3 individuals, and 2.9 individuals for the villages of Al-Izdihar, Al-Rowad and Al-Salah, respectively, with an average of about 2.8 individuals, which is The average is relatively high for young graduates, but from another perspective, it is an incentive for young graduates to set up projects that meet the needs of the residents of this region in terms of food, drink, clothing and other services.

Also, from the results of the research, the average years of residency reached the highest average number of years of residence in the village of Al-Ruwad, which reached about 15 years, while the lowest average years of residency was among the graduates of the village of prosperity, which reached about 12 years.

Also, about 64.2% of the graduates in all villages of the sample are of rural origin and have a large degree of experience that enables them to cultivate the lands they received from the state, and it was also found that more than 61% of the sample of young graduates in all villages cultivate the land themselves, and that nearly Of the 26.7% of the sample size for young graduates in the three villages who leave their lands to be cultivated by others due to the lack of practical or theoretical experience for them, as it is clear that approximately 38% of the sample of young graduates in different villages hold a non-agricultural specialization As for the annual fixed costs, their average at the level of the total sample reached 10.14 thousand pounds, while this average reached its maximum for the projects of young graduates in the village of Al Izdihar, as it reached about 10.94 thousand pounds.

As for the average variable costs, which includes the wages of workers, the amounts paid for energy, water and electricity, and the periodic maintenance of machines.

, In addition to the value of raw materials and veterinary care fees in the projects of raising sheep and fattening calves, and it is clear that this average at the level of the total sample reached about 3469.4 pounds.
