The problem of providing food for humans has become a real challenge to society and the countries and peoples of the developing world suffer from an imbalance between what is available and what Is required to cover the human needs, resulting in a huge food gap, which burden the national investments, and is determined the problem of research in the inability of production capacity of red meat to meet the requirements of them, which leads to the rise in prices of red meat in Egypt as a Especially in comparison with the international standards recommended by the World Health, Food and Agriculture Organization and in the New Valley Governorate, despite the availability of many economic factors and productive conditions that support the success and development of livestock production projects, which depend mainly on the size And the amount of feed, whether green or dry, which can be provided from squares cultivable crops feed, but it shows the weakness of the contribution of the province in animal production, especially red meat has been determined research objective in the study of production efficiency of meat Ham In the New Valley Governorate through the achievement of a set of sub-objectives which are to identify the current status of red meat production in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the New Valley during the period of study (2000 - 2016) and determine the relative importance of this promising province for the Republic and identify the most important variables affecting consumption Of the red meat in the Arab Republic of Egypt during the period of study and study the most important factors affecting the amount of red meat production in the new valley, and the study of production costs, and identify the most important obstacles facing producers of red meat in the Valley Capricorn And to identify the most important possible solutions and opportunities from the point of view of livestock holders to overcome these obstacles within the new valley.

The research was based on descriptive and quantitative statistical analysis methods in the arithmetical and engineering averages and percentages in explaining the production and economic variables related to the subject of the study, estimating the general time trend equations, estimating the statistical significance in linear regression analysis using T, F tests, Analysis of variance between production groups and estimation of production functions and production elasticity using the multiregression regression analysis to identify the most important factors affecting production, estimating the correlation coefficients matrix and estimating the differences between the categories The analysis of the differences between the different categories, the estimation of the cost functions, the determination of the optimal production volume, the size of the economic production, the calculation of the economic indicators, the analysis of the variance between the groups, the identification of the productive problems and the proposed solutions for the livestock owners in the New Valley.

Based on the results of the study, and through the field visits of the farms of animal production, it was possible to reach some recommendations that would contribute to the development of some productive policies for red meat from the mixed cows in the New Valley Governorate, namely: 1- Expanding the production and cultivation of summer fodder, which does not conflict with the needs of summer cash crops, which bear agriculture in the fields of horizontal expansion such as: millet crops, feed cow, and sorghum.

2- Growing and multiplication of high-yield winter feeds such as: Feed beet which produces more than 100 tons of feed in the winter clover and the beginning of summer fodder, thus solving the problem of decreasing feed in this period.

3- Support animal producers in free veterinary convoys to develop their skills and abilities to detect veterinary diseases and to know the required fortifications and times of use and optimal rates required.

4- Preventing the export of Alfalfa Alfalfa ballets produced in the new valley and selling it in the local market.

5- The establishment of practical and training courses for educators on how to treat the fillings of urea and ammonia and its use in feeding animals.

6- To support the competition between importers of animal inputs such as: yellow maize and concentrates to obtain the lowest price with the highest quality in order to prevent monopoly for the benefit of farmers and livestock breeders.

8- Facilitating procedures for investors to encourage them to invest in desert areas, especially the new valley to establish many farms for animal production and feed mills because of its strategic importance for the Arab Republic of Egypt.
