الملخص الإنجليزي

This study sought to reveal intertexuality in the novels "Nineteen" and "The Heads of Demons" by the Jordanian novelist Ayman al-Atum.To this end, the 8 researcher dealt with the religious and literary intertexuality in both novels.

The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach to achieve this goal, and the study was divided into a preface and two chapters: As for the preface, the researcher addressed the term "intertexuality", its origins, and the most important critics who contributed to highlighting the term as a critical concept in the Western literary field, and then moved to introduce the cultural references of the novelist Ayman al-Atum.

As for the first chapter: the researcher dealt with religious intertexuality and divided it into two sections; the first studied some models of Qur'anic texts at the level of Qur'anic narration and the Qur'anic sentence, while the second research dealt with intertexuality in the Prophet's Hadith.

The second chapter dealt with literary intertexuality and was divided into two sections : the first one deals with intertexuality in Western literature and the second section deals with Arabic literature.

The researcher then concluded the study with a conclusion and several recommendations.
