This article deals with a translation of the "Reproductive Technology" study, which was included in the book of the contemporary American philosopher Thomas Wall, entitled: "Thinking Critically about Moral problems" In which he tackled seven ethical issues according to his critical thinking approach, which combines on the one hand, theory and application, and on the other hand, combines descriptive ethics and normative ethics.

In this context, Wall will present three reproductive techniques represented in: diagnostic techniques, fertilization techniques, and genetic techniques, in an accurate and descriptive scientific manner, then he will move on to explaining the ethical issues raised by each technique separately, and the consequences that may result from it on several levels.

The importance of this topic lies in the fact that it presents to us an optimal way to address scientific issues - directly related to the human person - with an ethical approach that does not lack extensive knowledge of the details of scientific facts and assumptions related to their present and future; This combination of scientific accuracy, philosophical depth, and an ethical dimension is what made us undertake this exercise in translation, in our desire to value this approach and generalize its usefulness.
