The aim of this research aims was to "recognize the effectiveness of the goals scored in the Arab football championship in Qatar 2021" by identifying the scoring rates during the group stage and the different rounds in the tournament, the time of the goals scored, as well as the total time of the attacks during the goals scored, the effect of the first goal on the outcome of the match, and ways to get the ball during the goals scored, the most areas in which the ball was obtained, the initial position of the defensive players and their number when goals were scored, besides, the methods of play in which the scoring was made, the number of passes made before goals were scored, the number of touches from which the player scored the goal, and the number of goals scored from moving positions as well as stationary positions In the tournament, the type of shots used in scoring, body parts used in scoring, players of different positions who scored, goals scored for the penalty area, shooting areas, and the shooting angles.

the descriptive survey method was used to achieve the goals of this study and answer its main questions.

the sample was chosen by the intentional method from the goals scored in the Arab football championship in Qatar 2021 starting from the group stage until the final match, and the number was (32 matches) for (16 teams).

the results of this study determined the scoring rates, the most times of the game scoring goals as well as the total time of the attacks, the effect of the first goal on the match, the most ways and areas to get the ball, the initial position of the defenders and their number, the most ways of playing and the number of passes and touches during the recording, as well as the most mobility and stationary scoring positions.

moreover, it determined the most types of shots and parts used in scoring, the most players who scored from positions, and the most goals scored for the penalty area, shooting areas, and shooting angles.

accordingly, the researcher recommended the necessity of analyzing the matches, especially the effectiveness of the goals scored through the variables of analysis chosen in the study during the various tournaments to identify recent developments and changes in this field.

and to train players on different finishing methods and on tactical sentences to penetrate the opponents’ defenses and reach the goal in the optimal way to score goals and utilize the opportunities more effectively.
