The purpose of this article is to review all the criteria adopted to be able to decide in favor of a genetic relationship of a language to one of the language families.
the Berber dialect of Beni Boussaid is no exception to the rule and has features in common with the chamito-semitic languages.
this resemblance is not hazardous, on the contrary the similarity affects almost all levels of analysis, namely lexical, phonetic or even grammatical.
the relatedness of the Berber dialect of Beni Boussaid to the chamito semitic languages is no longer disputed.
الملخص FRE
Il s’agit dans cet article de passer en revue l’ensemble des critères adoptés pour pouvoir trancher en faveur d’une parenté génétique d’une langue à l’une des familles des langues.
le parler berbère de béni boussaid n’échappe pas à la règle et présente des traits communs avec les langues chamito-sémitiques.
cette ressemblance n’est pas hasardeuse bien au contraire la similitude touche presque tous les niveaux d’analyse à savoir lexical, phonétique ou même grammatical.
l’apparentement du parler berbère de Béni Boussaid aux langues chamito sémitiques n’est plus contesté.
