The study of the level of emotional intelligence in children at moral risk is very important, as it is one of the fundamental factors of children's happiness and success in life.

It also helps to recognize the shortcomings in the process of socialization and rehabilitation of this vulnerable group of society, which requires special care and care, as early intervention and comprehensive care help ensure children's emotional, social and moral health, thus promoting their healthy development.

In this context, the study was conducted to detect the level of emotional intelligence in children at risk and residents of the Multi-service Center for Youth Protection (MCYP) in Ouargla., as the study sample consisted of 16 children at risk.

In order to achieve the study's goals, the (Bar-On and James Parker) Emotional Intelligence Scale was used in the translation of (Rizqallah Randa Suheil's 2006).

The measure consists of 60 items distributed over 60 dimensions, namely: personal competencies, social competencies, stress management competence, adaptive competencies, positive mood competencies, and positive impression competency.

The study concluded that the sample members enjoy a moderate level of emotional intelligence.
