The novel (The Consciousness of the Speaker) is a modern literary narrative genre.

Although some of its sign and semiotical aspects date back to ancient historical epochs, and it's beginning was limited to a direct form of narration of a short story that had to be real and recent, it began to take on its modern form when it broke away from the telling of facts and transformed into an artistic formation that depends on the imagination of the novelist.

This can be noticed via the engagement in experimentation in order to renew, innovate, open up and move away from all ancient and familiar parameters.

This made it more inspirational for other arts.

The development also touched the thresholds of constructing fictional text including the cover, introduction, and titles that engage other significant dimensions and horizons.

Thus, our research revealed the manifestations of experimentation in the structure of the narrative discourse of the novel ((The Consciousness of the Speaker)) by Faisal Al-Ahmar.

Accordingly, shedding light on the textual thresholds of the novel, which had an effect on the novel's semantics and aesthetics via the threshold of the cover, the threshold of the introduction, and the threshold of the internal headings, based on the following problem: -what are the implications of the internal and external narration’s thresholds of (The Consciousness of the Speaker) ?
