Iraqi relations with Egypt in their temporal dimension hit the depths of history, whose docu- ments and blogs indicate the ex- istence of a kind of diplomatic.

So we write about this relations after 2003, and we think, the re- search, acquires its importance because it discusses the relations between two Arab countries that are very important to them and their Arab and regional weight, which are both Egypt and Iraq, and the quality of the relations between them gives a percep- tion for political students about the outcomes of Arab and joint action and bilateral thinking to solve the crises of the Arab re- gion.

Therefore, we find that the House of Wisdom,( Bait Al- hikma), which is the prestigious institution represented by its po- litical department, headed by the veteran diplomat and great his- torian, Professor Dr.

Mahmoud Ali Aldaoud, addressed the issue of relations through a scientific symposium in 2015 in which a group of the finest specialists in Iraqi-Egyptian relations spoke, and in its recommendations was an emphasis on the Iraqi decision-maker The necessity of heading towards Egypt and strengthening relations with it.

The research proceeded to prove the hypothesis that the Iraqi-Egyp- tian relations are slowly mov- ing towards constructive coop- eration at the political, economic and military levels.

Therefore, the stronger those relations, the higher the status of Iraq at the Arab level, and this served its regional position, and the more it served the Egyptian interior, and the more this provided their long-term strategic orientations.

To prove the hypothesis, our re- search divided into four sec- tions, the first deals with the Egyptian perception of Iraq, the second deals with the political and diplomatic relations between Iraq and Egypt, the third topic will deal with the economic re- lations between Iraq and Egypt, while the fourth will deal with the Iraqi-Egyptian military rela- tions and the future prospects for relations.

At the conclusion of this research, we suggested the following in order to supplement and sustain the Iraqi- Egyptian cooperation in a broader :and stronger way 1.

Increasing security cooperation between Iraq and Egypt and the importance of exchanging intel- ligence information.

Take quick steps regarding the participation of Egyptian com- panies in the reconstruction of the liberated areas and the rest of the Iraqi cities.

Working on employing soft pow- ers and building bridges of cul- ture between the two countries.

4.

Strengthening and developing the oil agreement between the two countries, because it ex- pands the horizons of economic relations, and works to raise the rate of trade exchange.
