This paper debates with the issue of irregular lexica forms, withrespect to word eloquence, m two parts : the fir6 re- lates to the signifier (word or formula) and the limits of its use in the language system, and the second relates to the meaning(signification).

the paper proved through scientific discussion and technical analysis that rhetorical consideration of eloquent texts is certainly based on the arbitration of taste and personal disposition, and that there is no clear-cut standards for the taste.

what is flawed to some- one is perhaps not so to others, provided th3t all are bound by the standards of correct and lucid styles.

the whole issue oscil- lates between the more preponderant and favourable and the less preponderant and favourable.

the criteria of preponderance are often the clues of the context in its general sense, and the goal of reading, analysis and disclosure of the semantics hidden m the fractures- particularly literary texts-is to realize the purposes of rhetoric, and the enjoyment and excitement of the addressee.

the normative linguistic perspective should not be so dominat-ing that it plays down the poetical quotation, eliminates its aes-thetic teleological function and extinguishes the glamor of its lexis, image and meaning, as in the cases of (nawaakis al-3bsaar) by al-farazdaq and (bayn biir wa ‘aym) by al-buhturi, as long as the proofs and rationale are vividly present in the context.
