Analyzing the needs is a first step in designing a French for specific purposes (FSP) program included in vocational training in the tourism field.
learners need to acquire language skills that are essential to their professional training and to the practice of their profession.
based on the work of Hutchinson and waters, this study seeks to identify the language needs of a professional audience in the tourism field seeking training in tourism French and examines the perceptions of thirty-one future learners of tourism French.
six French teachers working in professional training centers were interviewed by the researcher.
the results show the importance of the FSP program for this type of public.
this research work proposes pedagogical implications that help improve the current French program based on the needs of the learners.

Analyser les besoins est une première étape pour concevoir un programme de français sur objectifs spécifiques (FOS) inclus dans la formation professionnelle du domaine du tourisme.
les apprenants doivent acquérir des compétences linguistiques indispensables dans leur formation et dans l'exercice de leur métier.
partant des travaux de hutchinson et waters, la présente étude cherche à identifier les besoins langagiers d'un public professionnel dans le domaine du tourisme demandeur de formation en français du tourisme et examine les perceptions de trente et un futurs apprenants de français du tourisme.
six enseignants de français exerçant dans les centres de formation professionnelle sont interviewés par le chercheur.
les résultats montrent l'importance du programme de FOS pour ce genre de public.
ce travail de recherche propose des implications pédagogiques aidant à améliorer le programme de français actuel basé sur les besoins des apprenants.
