The aim of the research is to measure the level of emotional suppression among students of the university of mosul in general , as well as measuring the level of psychological resilience of mosul university students in general ,and identifying about the natural the relationship between emotional suppression and psychological resilience among students mosul university ,as well as recognition of nature of the relationship between emotional suppression and psychological resilience among university students mosul according to a variable specialization (scientific, human) as well as identifying the nature of the relationship between emotional suppression and psychological resilience forget among the students of mosul university according to the variable of the (first, fourth) grade as well as recognition on the nature of the relationship between emotional suppression and psychological resilience among students at the university of mosul according to avariable gender (male, female) the sample of the research (measurement) consisted of (700) male and female students, and for the academic year (2019, 2020) by (250) from scientific specialization and (250) from human specialization for the first and fourth stages for both sexes (male and female) , the statistician sample consisted of (400) male and female students they were selected randomly , stratified , and in order to achieve the research objectives the researcher adopted a student scale (2012) the emotional suppression which consisted of (24) paragraph and building the psychological resilience scale , after refer to the literature and previous studies, where the scale consists of (6) fields which are accepted criticism and learning from mistakes, making the right decision sanse of humor independence forming relationships the researcher conducted a preliminary exploratory study, and the sample consisted of (20) studented, and matiyas in its initial from consisted of (66) paragraphs , after the researcher extracted the characteristics the researcher carried out the truthfulness of the truth in ways including (the apparent, the banani, the logical, the subjective) by second exploratoty study of the two students, on asample of (20) male and female students , the wealth was extracted distinguish the method of the two extremes , as well as the relationship of period to total degree the matasin and (4, 5, 21, 24) was a non- characteristic paragraph to emotional suppression and (5, 25, 28, 47, 62) aperiod a non- indistinguishable for psychological resilience and therefore they were removed from the two scales, and thus the paragraphs of the scale became emotional suppression , in its final from consists of (20) paragraphs and for the measure of psychological resilience, it has become a number the scale paragraphs in their final from (59) are paragraphs and the researcher extracted the consistency of the research performance and that through retesting on a sample of (50) male and female students, the degree of stability of the repression was reached the emotional suppression (0.91) as for psychological resilience, it reached a degree of stability (0.89) as for each field of psychological resilience in a re- test method, as it reached as followes for one domain acceptance of progress and learning from mistakes reached (0.79) degree and for the appropriate decision- making field it (0.82) a degree for the field of humar was (0.76) and for the field of independence it reached (0.82) a degree and for the field the formation of social relations is (0.81) degree , and for the field of tolerance it reached (0.77) degree the seasercher extracted the stability using the Alph cronbach method for two scales, where the stability of the emotional suppression reached in this way there is a (0.89) degree and psychological resilience (0.92) the data were computed using the statistical package for social sciences (spss) it contains a set of statistical methods, including the two- test for one sample, the second test for two independent samples, the person corelation coeffcient, the second test of the significance of the correlation coeffcient.

The researcher reached the following results:- 1-mosul university students have a more than average level of emotional suppression.

2-mosul university students enjoy a high level of psychological resilience 3- There is a negative statistically significant relationship between emotional suppression and psychological resilience as it increases the level of emotional suppression decreases the level of psycological resilience 4- There are no statistically significant differences between emotional suppression and psychological resilience among the research sample and its purity variable specialization (the humanistic- science) 5-There are no significant differences emotional suppression and psychological resilience in the research sample according to for the academic year variable (first and fourth ) 6-There are no significant difference between emotional suppression and psychological resilience in sample the variable gender (male- female)
