This research eventually studies and analyzes the novel Al Hay Al Hay (Alive Alive) that is published in 2019 by the Emirati creative writer Ali Al Shaali.

although the writer has creatively succeeded in constructing his novel artistically, this research focuses on the meanings and concepts of the novel, its possible implica tions, in a quest of its existential philosophical dimensions.

similarly, it aims at revealing the writers perception of the world and existence, and knowing how he perceives and expresses its issues and problems.

this research is divided into two elements.

the first one deals with the title of the novel due to its deep connotations and implications of this threshold, which summariz es its connotations and purposes.

the second one studies the significance of some of the employed and used symbols by the novelist, foremost among them : the butterfly symbol.

this research concludes with a set of results.

the most important one is that the novel is based on many temporal, spatial and philosophical paradoxes that express the protagonist's personality disorder and contradictions.

in addition, the novel ultimately supports man and his existence in life and defends a set of noble human values, espe cially the values of peace, tolerance and love.

in addition to the scientific studies, the section presents the opinions and ideas of two important topics, the first of which deals with a topic about talent in childhood through reviewing a number of Arab and international experiences.

while the second topic presents a topic about the dialectic of life and life in the novel Al Hay Al Hayy by Emirati writer and poet Ali Al Shaali.
