Predictors of students’ behavioral intention in college of education at University of Ha’il toward the adoption of digital library

This study aimed to examine the predictors of the DL use among students.

A quantitative research approach was applied, where 179 students randomly responded to questionnaires.

Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) were applied using AMOS to test the hypotheses and examine the relationships among predictors.

The findings showed that library training has a significant effect on the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of a DL, and both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a significant effect on students’ behavioral intention to use DLs.

Library training appears to be essential to achieve the optimal use of DLs by supporting students’ perception of DLs as useful and easy to use.
