The mausoleum is an architectural monument built on the tomb of one of the characters commemorating his memory.

the shape of mausoleums varies from one civilization to another ; the cultural substratum and the environment played a big role in the development of funerary architecture.

the mausoleum bordj Ghedir is a roman funerary monument is located southeast of the town of bordj Ghedir who was called lemllef in the province of setifian Mauritania.

it affects as a whole the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped is built of beautifully carved stones of great apparatus, by comparison it is similar in its current state to the mausoleum of Lambèse by that form its architecture and its ornamentations.

its restitution will give a heritage and identity value to the city which has not yet revealed its secrets of the roman era and encourages the action to safeguard the heritage and the typological study of the roman mausoleums in Algeria.

Le mausolée est un monument architectural construit sur la tombe de l'un des personnages commémorant sa mémoire.

la forme des mausolées varie d’une civilisation à une autre ; le substrat culturel et l’environnement ont joué un grand rôle pour le développement de l’architecture funéraire.

le mausolée de bordj Guedir est un monument funéraire romain est situé au sud-est de la ville de bordj Guedir qui a été appelé lemllef dans la province de la Mauritanie sétifienne.

Il affecte dans son ensemble général la forme d'un parallélépipède rectangle est bâti ' en pierres de grand appareil admirablement taillées, par comparaison il se ressemble dans son état actuel au mausolée de Lambèse par sa forme, son architecture et ses ornementations.

sa restitution va donner une valeur patrimoniale et identitaire de la ville qui n’a pas encore révélé ses secrets de l’époque romaine et encourage l’action de sauvegarde du patrimoine et l’étude typologique des mausolées romains en Algérie.
