Algeria is a multilingual country, known for its linguistic and cultural diversity.
in this article, we have attempted to capture the linguistic representations in two different samples: 1st year undergraduate and 1st year French master students from the university of relizane.
we are interested in their language practices in order to detect the representations they have of languages in general, and those they have of the French language in particular.
indeed, the same speaker masters more than one language and ends up developing representations about himself, his culture and that of the other.
we conducted a comparative study of linguistic practices and representations of the French language among this audience in order to describe their functioning among these students.
الملخص FRE
L’Algérie est un pays plurilingue, connue par sa diversité linguistique et culturelle.
dans cet article, nous avons tenté de saisir les représentations linguistiques chez deux différents échantillons: des étudiants de 1ère année licence et de 1ère année master français de l’université de relizane.
nous nous intéressons à leurs pratiques langagières afin de déceler les représentations qu’ils ont des langues en général, et celles qu’ils ont sur la langue Française en particulier.
en effet, un même locuteur maîtrise plus d’une langue et finit par développer des représentations sur lui-même, sur sa culture et sur celle de l’autre.
nous avons mené une étude comparative des pratiques linguistiques et des représentations de la langue Française chez ce public afin de décrire leur fonctionnement chez ces étudiants.
