The current research aims to reveal the relationship between the pattern of participatory Digital Mind maps (learner/teacher, learner/learners, and learners/teacher) in the Virtual Flipped Classroom environment and the level of electronic Social Competence (high - low) and its impact on developing Visual Thinking and Metacognition Skills.

The researcher relied on the descriptive and experimental approaches to determine the effect of experimental treatments on the two dependent variables, and used three tools (Electronic Social Competence scale, Visual Thinking test, and Metacognitive skills scale).

The research included an independent variable: the patterns of participation in three methods (learner/teacher, learner/learners, and learners/teacher) and a categorical variable: the Electronic Social Competence with its two levels (high/low).

And the experimental design used was the (2x3) factorial design.

And the one-way analysis of variance used to ensure the equivalence of the four experimental groups on both of Visual Thinking and Metacognitive skills.

The results showed that the two groups of the participatory pattern (learners/teacher, and learners/learners) outperformed each groups, and superiority of the groups of High electronic social proficiency level in both the participatory pattern group (learner/teacher) and the low electronic social proficiency level groups, on both Visual Thinking and Metacognition skills, And there are no significant differences between the two participatory pattern groups (learner/teacher) with high and low Electronic Social Competence.
