Children with autism present, compared to normal children, an uneven and heterochronous development resulting in serious disturbances of social interactions and communication, however early detection of children with autism is an action aimed at discovering and treating disorders having already produced alterations in several areas of development.
the Denver ESDM model (early start Denver model) is an early intervention approach for autism spectrum disorders that integrates developmental and learning concepts to provide direct intervention to children at 12 months of age.

Les enfants avec un autisme présentent comparativement aux enfants normaux un développement non homogène et hétérochrone se traduisant par de graves perturbations des interactions sociales et de la communication cependant le dépistage précoce des enfants avec un autisme est une action visant a découvrir et a traiter des troubles ayant déjà produit désaltérations dans plusieurs secteurs du développement.
le model Denver ESDM (early start Denver model) est une approche d’intervention précoce pour les troubles du spectre autistique qui intègre des concepts développementaux et d'apprentissage afin de proposer une intervention directe aux enfant a l'âge de 12 mois.
