Some of the advocates of renewing Islamic jurisprudence understood that renewal is the abandonment of the sayings of old scholars altogether, to replace them with the jurisprudence of some of the modern scholars, or to replace them with what the soul of each person dictates to its owner.

Others understood that the jurisprudence of old scholars is not infallible, and it is not acceptable to accept them altogether or reject them altogether.

Rather, we are looking at them with a new modern vision so that we can find out what is and is not subject to change.
